Sun, 24 June 2007 This is the last week before our big One Year Anniversary Show at the House of Blues. And it happens to feature the old school crew of Farley, Jeremy and Dorothy. Molly was out sick, Brittany was out of town, and Nilo could not make it. But we share our thoughts on Paris Hilton and invite her to our show Thursday night. We share updates on Britney Spears, The Spice Girls, and Eddie Murphy being a baby daddy. Jeremy updates us on the grand opening of the Finding Nemo ride at Disneyland. We are really excited to all of you guys this Thursday night at the House of Blues Side Stage. We will have a Best Of CD for sale featuring the Best of our Intros, John Hull, The Gift Curse and the Game Show we had. CD's are only $5, and all proceeds are being donated to the Autism Tree Foundation. Doors open at 9pm, Mal Hall goes on shortly after. Hope to see you there. Have a great week.Comments[0] |
Sun, 17 June 2007 This week we imagine what it would be like, if we had personal theme songs that followed us around, or played when we came out to the ring for a wrestling match...or something. What would be your theme song? Coming to the ring, batting in a baseball game, whatever. In the news we hear from Michael Chiklis and Jessica Alba on being in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Linkin Park on being Green on there latest tour, and this just in; Paris Hilton is STILL in jail. Enjoy the in-fighting on the show this week. We get a little bit nasty to each other. But all families do. Happy Father's Day.Comments[0] |
Sat, 9 June 2007 This week's show is a mixed bag. We make an announcement about our teaming with the Autism Tree Project Foundation out of San Diego to raise money for them at our One Year Anniversary Show, Thursday June 28. We are selling a 30MWF Best Of CD for $5 a piece at the show and all proceeds to be donated to Autism Tree. This fun night is sure to entertain, and he we help give a little back. Check out the info on Autism Tree at www.autismtreeproject.org. Also, we had limited studio time, and had to podcast a day early. Meaning we lost Brittany, Molly, Jeremy, and Dorothy. But a returning Nilo and special guest Kevin were more then up for the challenge. We talk about Transformers, and hear from Michael Bay. We also hear from Gwen Stefani on a new No Doubt album; Kevin James on his new movie with Adam Sandler "I Now Pronounce you Chuck and Larry"; Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas on a new BEP album; and more. Shout out to our boy Nick, Marcus, Skye and others we mention. Special thanks to Dayna. And this just in....Paris Hilton is back in jail. And next week, we are doing The One with Theme Songs. What is your personal Theme Song. Email us at friendsfeedback@yahoo.com, myspace.com/30minutefriends or www.30mwf.com. Comments[0] |
Sun, 3 June 2007 As you can tell, this week is all about the hype. Hope you enjoy the intro that Jeremy and I decided needed to be done. Heh. We have almost all the guys on the show this week that will be performing at The 30MWF One Year Anniversary Party. Mal checks in and shares some comedy with us, The John Hull Trio of John, Charlie and Jason entertain us, and Chacho and Noel from The Gift Curse pop in to share some beers. We have a lot of fun and are really looking forward to the show on June 28th. Also in the news this week, we hear from Will Ferrell on the MTV Movie Awards, and our friends South and Chris from Augustana on debuting new songs while on tour.
