Mon, 29 October 2007 Welcome back. Farley was sick last week, and then of course the San Diego Fires hit, and we did not have a show. But we are all ok, and we are back again. On that note, we talk about the fires for most of the show, because for us, this was a crazy week. We talked about the talking heads that descended on San Diego, news anchors reporting on losing their homes, friends and family being evacuated and more. We also briefly talk about some of the things we did to move on and heal from this crazy time in San Diego and what Halloween parties we hit this weekend. Have a safe and Happy Halloween, and thank you to all the Firefighters that are still fighting the fires in San Diego.Comments[0] |

Our good friend Robb Carter stops by tonight to talk about Halloween Costumes, The Chargers stomping the Raiders, living the Hip Hop lifestyle, Saw IV, and much much more. P.S. Michael Bay, feel free to send Jeremy and I free copies of Transformers on DVD. You can check out Robb Carter at http://www.myspace.com/robbcarter. That's right, this weekend was the San Diego Comic Con, and we all had a chance to get out there and take in the sights. Jeremy and Farley went the last day and came back with goody bags filled with posters, fliers, ads, bookmarks, comics, novels and more. They are literally Halloween Comic Book Grab Bags. With special guest Nema, Nilo's brother, we discuss Dark Horse comics, Pokemon, Naruto, G.I. Joe, Star Wars, Spider Man, Transformers, Balls of Fury, Run Fatboy Run, Simon Pegg, Magic the Gathering, Hot Dogs, CosPlay, and much much more. So if you have not had a chance to ever go to the nerd festival of love that is the Comic Con, listen up and enjoy.Comments[0] |

Mon, 9 July 2007 Where to start? Missing some members of the cast this week, but we get Brittany and Nilo back. So all good. In the news we talk about Transformers, Harry Potter, Nicole Ritchie being pregnant, Christina Aguilera being pregnant, Andre 3000 teaming with Will Farrell, and more. Plus we have a new installment of the Brittany show thanks to our buddy Flounder. He is amazing. Our good friend Kevin joins us for a talk about who you would most want to spend an evening at dinner with. This came on because for the upcoming San Diego Comic Con, Joss Whedon(creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Serenity and more) is auctioning off himself for 5 dinners for charity. Pretty cool. Check out the Ebay page for more info. We got a great show lined up for next week, with a big announcement, and if you feel the show has been slow lately, don't worry. We are having some brain storming meetings and coming back strong in the next couple of weeks.Comments[0] |
Sun, 1 July 2007 Thank you. What a great night we had at the One Year Anniversary party this last Thursday night. Special thanks to everyone who helped make it possible. We play a little bit of audio that Dorothy took in throughout the night, and share our memories of the madness. We also talk briefly about the 4th of July, and what it means to us. From movies, fireworks, bbq, hanging out at the pool and more. We even discuss our favorite place to watch the fireworks here in San Diego. Check out all the photos that Molly took at www.myspace.com/30minutefriends. And that's it. Have a safe and happy holiday, and we will catch you again next week.Comments[0] |

Sun, 17 June 2007 This week we imagine what it would be like, if we had personal theme songs that followed us around, or played when we came out to the ring for a wrestling match...or something. What would be your theme song? Coming to the ring, batting in a baseball game, whatever. In the news we hear from Michael Chiklis and Jessica Alba on being in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Linkin Park on being Green on there latest tour, and this just in; Paris Hilton is STILL in jail. Enjoy the in-fighting on the show this week. We get a little bit nasty to each other. But all families do. Happy Father's Day.Comments[0] |
Sat, 9 June 2007 This week's show is a mixed bag. We make an announcement about our teaming with the Autism Tree Project Foundation out of San Diego to raise money for them at our One Year Anniversary Show, Thursday June 28. Sun, 20 May 2007 On this week's show we discuss what we would do if given 5 Days and money was no object. In other words, what would we do if we were filthy rich, could have time machines, and do whatever we wanted. All time favorite concerts, trips to Antarctica, whatever. Sun, 13 May 2007 Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms out there. Even though it was Mother's Day, a few of us were able to get together and put a show together this week. We are also joined by our special guest, Kevin. Our buddy Kevin was in the building and was cool enough to join us this week. In the news, we hear from Kanye West on his new album, Justin Timberlake teaming up with Reba for a country song, Carrie Underwood doing something nice for Mother's Day, an update on the Heroes Finale from Greg Gunberg and even what to expect in Shrek the Third from Mike Myers. Yeah, we stepped our game up this week. On to Mother's Day. Truly the day that celebrates the most important person in all our lives. The woman who carried us into this world. We talk about the "go to" Mom gifts, favorite Celebrity Moms, and favorite TV Mom. Sit back, relax, and enjoy. Even your Mom will love this show.Comments[0] |
Sun, 6 May 2007 You have seen and heard these top lists, they are all the rage today. Surely where you live the news is always rating the top dance clubs and best burger in town, right? Well San Diego is no different, and we have even done a Top San Diego show before, back in October of 2006. But this one is different. Each of us on the show, sat down and planned what we would want to do on "Our Best Day in San Diego". Meaning, where would we eat, what would we do. Dancing, hiking, picnic, bicycle rides, parks, eating, everything. So sit back and relax and take a podcast tour of our Best day's in San Diego. We also show some love to The Gift Curse, Augustana, Paris Hilton in jail, Spider-Man 3, John Hull and more.Comments[0] |
Sun, 29 April 2007 Looking forward to great movies this summer, but not sure what to plunk your money down on? We got you covered this week. Tune to hear our potential ratings for these movies and who are in them. Molly also gives us an update on the Coachella Music festival in Indio California and what stars she was able to see while listening to some great tunes.Comments[0] |
Mon, 23 April 2007 The rematch of the century is ON! Two weeks ago, Molly and Brittany as The Plastics defeated Jeremy and Dorothy as The Slutty Butts. This week is the rematch. Cage match style. Not really. But it's all fun and games none the less. Do The Plastics defend their title, or do The Slutty Butts come back and avenge their loss. Listen and find out. And if you are a fan of the returning show Heroes, please check out our good friends podcast at The Micro Update, www.themicroupdate.com and hear an entertaining recap of the latest show. Mon, 5 March 2007 This week was the most random you can imagine. But then, that is part of our charm. We discuss some of the worst dates we have ever been on, and share some of your stories as well. Because we have all been on a crappy date before. Maybe they started crying during sex, made you pay for dinner, said they were gay, whatever. We've all been there. We also talk about our friend Mal doing stand up, Anna Nicole finally laid to rest (sheesh), Nicole Ritchie not eating, and Bobby Brown in jail for being a dead beat dead. Shameful. Lots more in the show, enjoy.Comments[0] |
Mon, 26 February 2007 Thank you. We love our "good friends". We decided to have a show on the worst jobs we have had and crappy job experiences, and your experiences that you shared, made our show that much more worth while to us this week. Sun, 4 February 2007 So this week we wanted to be in the spirit of the Big Game and talk Super Bowl and football and all that other stuff. So we got our friends John Hull and Charlie to come on the show and perform, thus giving us a Halftime show for our Super Bowl. And then we showed up and could not help but act goofy for 30 Minutes. For long time fans, we actually got the show in at 30 Minutes. We also sorta talk about the Super Bowl. heh. Including our favorite foods, our picks, and what we are looking forward too. As well as some really great music from John and Charlie. Check out John's myspace at www.myspace.com/johnhull. Enjoy the show, next week is our Valentines Show. |
Mon, 29 January 2007 This week is all about The Grammy's. We discuss some of the major categories and pick our favorites to win the Grammy's that air Sunday Feb. 11, 2007. We give shout outs to some of our listeners, and talk about Jeff getting in a fender bender. Who will win?Comments[0] |
Mon, 22 January 2007 Wow. What a week. It was hard getting over the Chargers losing last week, but seeing the Colts and the Bears get to the Super Bowl was awesome. We bring this up, because we were watching the end of the game on the show this week. Anyways. We are joined this week by 2 of our friends, Noel and Cha Cho who are in the process of forming a new band called The Gift/Curse. The guys are cool enough to come in and play some of there unfinished songs for us, and grant us there first interview. They have a perfomance coming up at the House of Blues San Diego on February 22nd, please check them out. Enjoy the show and please check out our website www.30mwf.com. We discuss the People's Choice awards, and talk about Justin Timberlake being single in this week's Who's in the News? And then we get to our interview with Justin South of the very popular band Augustana. We catch up with South who is out the road for Augustana's new tour and hanging out in Seattle. Mon, 8 January 2007 This weeks show is all about Molly's Birthday. Strange that everyone's birthday has fallen on the day that we record the show every Sunday for the last 6 months, but whose complaining. We discuss quickly how our New Year's was, cover Whose in the News? with Dorothy, and our good friend Heather fills in for a sick Brittany. Then we get to the meat of the show and play Scene It? Jr. Molly, Jeremy and Jeff form the The Flogged Molly's and take on the Whor-e-o's of Heather, Nilo, and Dorothy. Play along at home, because on some of the questions, we are complete morons. We also have our website up and running, although right now it sucks. www.30MWF.com Have a great week.Comments[0] |

This week's show is all about old school slow jams and our memories of them. The show runs a little long this week, sorry, but it's worth it. We talk about Britney Spears not wearing underwear, Kid Rock calling Pam a whore and more in the news. Top 5 this week, is our Top 5 Slow Jams. This came on because for the upcoming San Diego Comic Con, Joss Whedon(creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Serenity and more) is auctioning off himself for 5 dinners for charity. Pretty cool. Have a safe and happy holiday, and we will catch you again next week.
This is the last week before our big One Year Anniversary Show at the House of Blues. And it happens to feature the old school crew of Farley, Jeremy and Dorothy. This week we imagine what it would be like, if we had personal theme songs that followed us around, or played when we came out to the ring for a wrestling match...or something. Happy Father's Day.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms out there. Even your Mom will love this show.
You have seen and heard these top lists, they are all the rage today. We also show some love to The Gift Curse, Augustana, Paris Hilton in jail, Spider-Man 3, John Hull and more.
Looking forward to great movies this summer, but not sure what to plunk your money down on? We got you covered this week. We talk about every major studio release for this summer movie season starting with Spider-Man 3 coming out May 4. Wait. May 4 is not the start of the summer? Right? Not according to Hollywood. Transformers, Oceans 13, Shrek 3, Surfs Up, Knocked Up, Rush Hour 3, Nancy Drew, Underdog, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, Die Hard 4, Ratatouille, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surf, Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix, Bourne Supremacy, Halloween, The Simpsons, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, Good Luck Chuck and more! Tune to hear our potential ratings for these movies and who are in them. Molly also gives us an update on the Coachella Music festival in Indio California and what stars she was able to see while listening to some great tunes.
The rematch of the century is ON! And if you are a fan of the returning show Heroes, please check out our good friends podcast at The Micro Update,
After winning the Movie Soundtrack Quiz show last week, Molly and Brittany, The Plastics were in charge of this week's show. So it's all about the ladies of 30MWF this week. Dorothy, Nilo, Brittany and Molly have some girl talk. We also talk about Shia Lebouf, Don Imus, Redline, the Prince, Harold and Kumar 2 movie news, and the latest in break ups and hook ups in Hollywood in Entertainment news.
Special show this week! We have a battle between Jeremy and Dorothy as the Slutty Butts vs. Brittany and Molly as the Plastics. In an epic showdown of movie and music knowledge, the two teams faced off for bragging rights. Play along at home, and when you are done, check out our Blog on our website at
Find out who we play an April Fool's joke on during the show this week. HAH! We talk about plumbing fiascos, American Idol fools, cracked out movie stars, Baby Borat and more. Great show this week. In the news, Britney Spears is out of rehab and more. The cast of the show all get there very own 30 Minutes with Friends T-shirt. You can buy yours at
This week was the most random you can imagine. Shameful. Lots more in the show, enjoy.
Thank you. We love our "good friends". We decided to have a show on the worst jobs we have had and crappy job experiences, and your experiences that you shared, made our show that much more worth while to us this week. We share stories our good friends provided through emails and on our myspace, we talk about Brad and Angelina getting another child(this one from Vietnam), Britney Spears going BACK into rehab and much much more. Enjoy the show this week, don't forget to check out more updates on our website at
Our Grammy's show was so huge, we had to give our take on the Oscars. This weeks show we talk about the 6 main categories, Best Actor, Actress, Supporting Actor and Actress, Best Movie and Best Director. Shout out to Joe in England for inspiring us on this week's show. We also discuss the results from the Grammy's last weekend, and our fallout from Valentines Day and Farley's Birthday party. Our friends Jen, Noel and Sally also join us, although except for Sally, our guests were smashed. :p Have a great week, and Happy Birthday to our very own Farley!
So this week we wanted to be in the spirit of the Big Game and talk Super Bowl and football and all that other stuff.
This week is all about The Grammy's. We discuss some of the major categories and pick our favorites to win the Grammy's that air Sunday Feb. 11, 2007. We give shout outs to some of our listeners, and talk about Jeff getting in a fender bender. We are short Nilo and Brittany this week who are on a ski trip, but we still brought some heat with this week's show. Molly and Jeff even make a dinner bet over Best Alternative Album. Who will win?
Wow. Subscribe on iTunes.
Welcome back friends! This week on the show we contemplate the end of the San Diego Chargers season, since we recorded right after the big loss. *sigh* Anyways, on to more fun stuff. We discuss the People's Choice awards, and talk about Justin Timberlake being single in this week's Who's in the News? And then we get to our interview with Justin South of the very popular band Augustana. We catch up with South who is out the road for Augustana's new tour and hanging out in Seattle. We talk about musical influences, backstage habits, quitting smoking, and we even throw in a question about masturbation. This is one interview you don't want to miss. It's sure to be entertaining. For more info on Augustana, check them out at www.strippedmusic.com, www.augustanamusic.com, or on there myspace at www.myspace.com/augustana. Please subscribe to us on iTunes. We got our shop up and running this week and you can now buy shit from your favorite show at www.cafepress.com/30mwf, and of course you can check us out on the world wide web at www.30mwf.com or www.myspace.com/30minutefriends. Have a great week!
This weeks show is all about Molly's Birthday. We also have our website up and running, although right now it sucks. www.30MWF.com Have a great week.
Happy New Years friends! We review the big stories in entertainment, music, movies, and television from 2006. We talk about our favorite stars that passed away, and the passing of some good friends. So enjoy the show and say hello to 2007. It will pass quickly enough.
It's the Christmas Show! And Happy Chanukah too. This is a special double episode. Next week we are off for Christmas, so we wanted to make sure you got your fill. Remember that first dance? Your first crush? Your first kiss? Everyone one of those had something in common. A slow jam. We also have a new Feature, The Myspace Friend of the week. It could be you! Next week we tackle Holiday Movies. And congratulations to our listener Cozza for winning last week's Myspace Contest. New contest next week.
